I wasn't aware that they took a pseudo-documentary approach. Sounds intetesting even if they are just "reenactments." This sounds like a good Sunday afternoon watch. Still, the scene where the alien makes its presence known and utters "I AM God!" pretty much fucked with my mind's eye for a few nights, so it got an extra star. I love films that make me look up at a star-filled night sky and wonder, "what might be out there," but this just did nothing for me. And I know you didn't know this at the time, but the so called documentary scenes were just as fake as anything with Milla Jovovich... which made that whole angle kind of pointless.
